Last Force

Plot: After a mysterious event that caused the dissappearence of the Justice League and the Legion of Doom, with almost every famous superhero and infamous supervillain gone, the world is left without somebody to protect it from new evil forces. Batman, the only member of the League who didn't dissappeared, decides to form a small team of heroes and train them to become the heroes this world needs.

Main Characters:

Batman / Bruce Wayne: Former original member of the Justice League and leader of the Last Force. He is now paraplegic, wich forces him to step away from his role as Batman. Instead, he now leads the team by giving them missions and information.

Static / Virgil Hawkins: A young African-American high school student in Dakota City. As a result of accidental exposure to an experimental mutagen, he gained the ability to control and manipulate electromagnetism,  and uses these powers to become a superhero named "Static." While Batman is the one who commands the team, Virgilacts as the leader in the field, having to learn from Batman how to become a  leader. Althought he has much to learn as a leader, he does care for his teammates (and friends) and will always try to do the best for them.

Apache Chief / Tye Longshadow: A young Native American runaway who has the power to project an astral version of himself which can grow several stories tall. Born in the Sonoran Desert, his home  was invaded by a terrorist group known as The Enlightenment and was forced to run away alongside his younger sister Flora. He is initially closed-minded, wanting nothing but revenge against those who attacked his home and his family, but he eventually becomes more friendly and even accepts his friends as part of his family.

Samurai / Toshio Eto: A young exchange student student from Japan that attends in the same school as Virgil. He serves as the brains of the group. His ancestors were all samurai. He obtained a mystical katana known as Ryu no Kazen (Dragon's Wind), wich gives him the power to control wind and his inner chi. Toshio has a cousin named Asami (nicknamed Sam), who also has the power to focus her chi like Toshio, but lacks his wind powers, instead having earth-based powers.

El Dorado / Eduardo Dorado: A Mexican-Argentinian young man. His father, a scientist named Fernando Dorado, accidentally gave Eduardo the power to turn his body into light, wich gives him the ability to move through any type of reflecting surface at the speed of light and shoot light beams from his hands, fingers, or feet. Initially working as a Robinh Hood-esque thief, he decides to use his powers to fight crime by joining the Last Force.

Rima: Daughter of a family of a rich British family, she was separated from her parents when she was just 2 year-old by a group of mercenaries in South America. Rima and the mercenaries got lost in the jungle and her captors were all killed by Didi, a jungle spirit wich takes the form of a white jaguar. The spirit took pity on the little girl and decided to adopt her. 15 years later, she was found by a political fugitive named Abel and brought to modern civilization, where she would becomea street hero, and eventually, member of the Last Force. Due to living in the jungle for almost all her life, she is completely new to the modern world and technology, and can be naive most of the time. She is physically strong enough to lift a car, has the ability to talk with animals and is immune to all forms of poisons.

Task Force X: An antihero team of incarcerated supervillains and vigilantes under the directorship of Amanda Waller. After the dissappearence of the Justice League, the goverment feared of the possibility of a new menace, wich took the form of the terrorist group known as The Enlightenment, and so they decided to create their own special team to serve as their weapon against the terrorists. It's members are: Deadshot / Floyd Lawton, Harley Quinn / Harleen Quinzel, The Question / Vic Sage, Captain Boomerang / George Harkness, Killer Frost / Louise Lincoln and Rick Flag Jr. King Shark, El Diablo / Chato Santana and Plastique / Bette Sans Souci serve as secondary members of the group. Task Force X serves as the rivals of Last Force in the series.

Wildcat / Ted Grant: A world-class heavyweight boxer and long-time member of the Justice League of America. He is now a retired man who owns a boxing gym in Star City. He is taskd by Batman to train the young superheroes in physical combat. Thanks to a "nina lives" spell, he has still kept his longevity.

Red Hood / Jason Todd: The former Robin who was killed by the Joker, is revealed to be resurrected by Talia al Ghul in the Lazarus Pit. But the pit changes him and his emotions and he becomes the new Red Hood. He now works as a vigilante with the goal of making the very concept of Batman obsolete. Althought he is not above killing, and still angry at the world, both Jason and the Last Force have had to join forces against enemies far more dangerous.

Power Girl / Kara Zor-L / Karen Starr: The cousin of Superman and a native of the planet Krypton. On Earth, as with other Kryptonians, Power Girl discovered she possessed abilities like super strength, flight, and heat vision, using which she became a protector of innocents and a hero for humanity. After Superman's dissappearence, Kara decides to become Metropolis' sole protector while also looking for her cousin and the rest of the League.

Behold, a new concept for a DC Universe animated series. This could either be good or bad. In my point of view... it's ok I guess, not the best but at least I tried. I wanted to do something using the characters Static, Apache Chief, Samurai, El Dorado and Rima of the Jungle (not using Black Vulcan for obvious reasons). Also, with the upcoming Suicide Squad movie in the works, I decided to use them in the story as the team's rival group. The concept for The Enlightenment comes from The Light from Young Justice and real-life Illuminaty, though the members are all original characters and not DC supervillains. I initially didn't wanted to use Batman for this, but since Batman has to be in every single DC story for some reason, I decided to add him but with a little twist, making him the Oracle of the group. This would take place in it's own universe just to make sure it doesn't affect any other storyline.
