Florence Blackthorne: The young heir of the Blackthorne Family and current guardian of the Kaleidoscope of St. Gabriel, an ancient instrument created with the sole purpose of finding doors to other worlds. Florence's father, Howard Blackthorne, dissappeared after fighting against the Old God of Darkness, Czenobog. Two years later, her mother Graciela died of illness. Florence wants to bring honor to the Blackthorne Family, who have protected the Doors of the Multiverse for generations. Her weapon of choice is her family scythe Clair de Lune.

Soichiro Akamoto: The adoptive son of Howard and Graciela, he serves as both Florence's brother and bodyguard. Soichiro was the only survivor in a village that was ravaged by Czenobog's minions. Although he lost both arms, he was given new prosthetic arms for combat. Soichiro is absolutly loyal to Florence and cares deeply for her safety, as he made a promise to Howard that he would never leave Florence's side. Soichiro uses his boxing skills in combat.

Roger Bacon: An English philosopher and friar who discovered the secrets of immortality (do not ask him how he became immortal, you will never get a straight answer). He used to be part of the Franciscans and the Order of Friars Minor. He now offers his services to the Blackthorne Family as it's butler and alchemist. He created the Kaleidoscope of St. Gabriel to see beyond the human eye. He was the first European to record the formula for gunpowders. He has a gatling gun hidden inside his clothes and uses tiny but powerful explosives.

Original:

Xerxes Ionesco: A wizard and alchemist who serves as Czenobog's loyal servant. After his wife was killed in a village in the middle of a civil war, Xerxes swore to bring her back to his side. He made a pact with Czenobog, planning to set the evil demon free in exchange for the soul of his beloved wife.

Czenobog: The evil God of Darkness. He was put in a prison made of light in the ancient world of Eden by Howard Blackthorne. However, he was able to put a curse on Howard, turning him into the equivalent to the Wandering Jew, forced to walk between worlds without aging until the end of time with no place to call home. Czenobog wants to bring the end of all existence, breaking the circle of life. Nothing else matters to him, just pure annihilation and deep darkness.
