Saul "Sol" Valentine: A Mexican detective member of The Agency, an organization that has the job to maintain the balance between time and space, and to make sure the thin walls between the worlds aren't broken. Sol is very laid back, careless, sometimes kind of goofy and lively to the dismay of his partner Tsuki. However, Sol is also selfless. In all, Sol can best be defined as an intelligent guy with a child's fun-loving demeanor and careless personality, laughing and quipping in the face of opposition, though he will act more serious and determined when someone is in true danger. He is sent in a mission with Yuki to capture a group of rebel members of The Agency and their leader, Amon. He is based off Mexican banda singer, Valentín Elizalde.
Yuki "Tsuki" Houser: An English-Japanese detective member of The Agency. Unlike her partner, Tsuki is very stubborn, persistent, stronghead but still a reliable member of the group. She is very caring towards everyone, but constantly reprimes others when they do something stupid, careless or perverted. Although constantly reprimanding Sol for his selflessness but still careless personality, she admits that she cares for him and will always be by his side. She is based off singer Amy Winehouse and drummer of the Japanese band Malice Mizer, Ukyou Kamimura, also known as Kami.
